About In The Garden Of Shadows 2: Faith
A glam-sex movie that continues where master Michael Ninn's IN THE GARDEN OF SHADOWS ended. With great stylistic efforts Ninn created a dreamy athmosphere somewhere between gothic romance and swimmimg-pool decadence. There's five thoroughly aesthetically styled scenes which reach from sweet lesbo-fondle to (tastefully shot) threesome with double penetration. Again and again beautiful Anais take center stage, she who already caused many a drooling mouth in the predecessor IN THE GARDEN OF SHADOWS. On a separate bonus-disc there's a 23-minute 'behind the scenes', a lesbo 'tease-clip' and a good half hour of footage from aforementioned previous edition.

Not all of Michael Ninn's works are as inspired as FAITH, where, especially lighting-wise, the master has come up with some great stuff. There's no doubts about the cast at all. And he surprises us all: That after the playful and elaborate intros the fucking takes center stage, and that Ninn mostly even turns off the background music is as unexpected as it is effective. I will, for once, let Ninn off for there being condoms (twice) in as stylish a movie and for the lack of hefty scenes. He deserves his wrist slapped for the senseless navigation menu on the bonus-disc though.
