'Anabolic' promised us no less than the invention of a new porn genre - which is a joke, of course. But then again, ARTCORE packs quite a punch with its first-rate cast, ribald action, and cool production design. It also possesses a wicked groove that makes up for its shortcomings in the lighting department: some of the scenes, especially Eva Angelina's blowjob, are somewhat underlit. Then again, this is hardly of importance considering the movie's sheer amount of eye candy. Let's hope future ARTCORE episodes will turn out equally impressive. Top marks!

HOUSE OF WHORES is something like a new highlight for the 'Anabolic' label. The line-up is terrific; it not only includes four ORGAZMIK 'Eye-catchers' (Belladonna, Katsumi, and Jezel Roxy, Eva Angelina), but also super-kitten Nautica Thorn and major piggie Gia Paloma. The sex scenes are elegantly shot, conventiently rough, and very imaginative. Check out the toilet scene - definitely one of the genre's best ever (and that includes Rocco Siffredi's work). In every respect HOUSE OF WHORES is a highlight in the 'Anabolic' catalog. It might even be one of the best movies of 2004, for all I know. It definitely makes my Top Ten.
